Your family doesn’t need a chef. They need a warm meal cooked with love.
If you are here and you feel like you’ll never be a good cook, let me encourage you to keep trying. There have been PLENTY of times over the years that I had no idea what I was doing and ruined our dinners. But, I never gave up and those “failures” taught me valuable lessons.
Have fun and don’t take it too seriously!! I want you to feel confident trying new things and I know your family is going to appreciate your efforts!

Hey y’qll, I’m Mandy!
I’m so happy you are here and I hope you find my site helpful when it comes to meal planning and cooking for your family. I am currently a stay at home mom and wife who loves to try new recipes to feed my small family of 3.
I haven’t always been a stay at home (or should I say work from home) mom. After college I worked a corporate job for about 6 years and then transitioned to being a director in a direct sales company and finally transitioned to my current position as a content creator for YouTube. I’ve really developed a passion for finding new recipes, tweaking them to our liking, and sharing those “Winner Dinners” recipes with you!
My recent journey of finding new recipes each week started about 3 years ago. We were stuck in a dinner rut, making the same recipes over and over again. We also ate out way too often. To get myself out of that cycle, I started filming a series on my YouTube channel where I would try new recipes every single week and it quickly caught on and my subscribers loved it! I love that I’m doing the research and finding the recipes and tweaking them so that my viewers get the benefit of knowing I’m sharing something tried and approved by us!
Fun fact - If you would have been in the kitchen with me 10 years ago, you would NEVER have thought I would one day have a cooking channel where thousands of people would tune in to learn new recipes!! I could barely boil water. I’ve come a long way in the last 10 years and I’ve gone from hating being in the kitchen to now it’s my happy place.
While I’m definitely not a trained chef by any stretch of the imagination, I do love to be in the kitchen creating yummy and comforting food for my family. Not only will you find ME in the kitchen, but oftentimes my husband and my teenage son will join me. We all love food and love to spend time together in the kitchen as a family. It’s where a lot of our memories are made. I don’t share all of that on the internet, but we do try to give you a small glimpse into our fun times in the kitchen. And we also love to do a taste test for our subscribers too, giving them our feedback and any changes we think could help with the flavor.
If I’m not in the kitchen, you’ll find me relaxing with a book or watching some reruns of older shows. I also volunteer a good bit at our church. I’m an extroverted introvert - so I can definitely have a good time with others, but I recharge by being alone!
