Inside-out Stromboli
Our family has recently fallen in love with stromboli and this unique twist makes it even easier to get the same great flavors!
This recipe makes about 8-10 servings.
Notes for this recipe - This would be great with bell peppers, pepperoni, etc. added in!

Ingredients
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough, each biscuit cut into 4 pieces
1 lb ground Italian sausage
1/2 onion, diced
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1 (14.5oz) can diced tomatoes, mostly drained
2 cups mozzarella cheese
Here’s how to make it
Preheat oven to 350. Spray 9x13 baking dish with nonstick spray and set aside.
Brown Italian sausage and onion together in a large skillet over med-high heat adding in seasonings.
Drain once browned and put back in skillet. Add diced tomatoes. Turn to med-low and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
Add sausage mixture to bottom of baking dish, and top with 1 cup cheese.
Place biscuit pieces on top of cheese and then finish by spreading the remaining cheese on top.
Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes!
