Sloppy Joe Ground Beef and Rice Casserole

We LOVE Sloppy Joes in this house, so when I found this recipe, I had a feeling it was going to be a big hit. And it was!

This makes about 4-6 servings.

NOTES We used a little less cheese than the recipe calls for. Just a preference of ours.

What a cool way to change up Sloppy Joes!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef

  • 1 cup diced yellow onions

  • 10.5 oz condensed chicken broth

  • 2 cups water

  • 2 cups white Minute rice

  • 1 1/2 cups ketchup

  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tbsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
