Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

Need an easy but restaurant quality dinner? This slow cooker beef stroganoff is just what you are looking for. Not only is a great comfort food, but it will impress everyone!!

This makes about 6-8 servings.

Notes: Feel free to use chicken broth in place of the white wine. You could also cook the egg noodles in the slow cooker at the end instead of making them on the stove.

This CrockPot Beef Stroganoff is decadent! The meat falls apart in your mouth and the sauce is so rich!

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ lb stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes

  • 1 tsp garlic salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ¼ cup flour

  • 3-6 Tbsp olive oil

  • 3 Tbsp cold butter, separated

  • ½ cup white wine, see notes

  • 16 oz. button Mushrooms

  • 1 small yellow onion, diced

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 4 cups beef broth

  • 1 tsp better than bouillon, or 1 beef bouillon cube

  • 2 Tbsp red wine vinegar

  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard

    To Thicken

  • ¼ cup cornstarch + ¼ cup cold water

  • 1 ½ cups Sour Cream, not reduced fat

  • 10.5 oz. cream of mushroom soup, optional

    For Serving

  • 1 lb wide homestyle Egg Noodles
