Quick and Easy Steamed Salmon
A 15 minute dinner idea that packs so much flavor! I also steamed my broccoli along with the salmon and had a full dinner in about 15 minutes!
This makes about 3-4 servings.
Notes: Feel free to use any lemon/garlic combo with this. I just used Mr. Sticks because that’s what I had on hand. I used my Buydeem Steamer, but you can steam on the stove top, too!
*If you want to watch the video of this being made, this recipe starts at the 5:22 mark.
Ingredients
3-4 salmon filets (skin on or off, doesn’t matter)
salt and pepper, to taste
3 Tbsp melted butter
1 lemon
Here’s how to make it
Pat salmon dry. Season with salt and pepper.
Place salmon (skin-side down, if it has skin) in steamer. *You could also thinly slice the lemon and place those slices under the salmon so it will absorb the lemon.
Steam until salmon reaches internal temp of 145 degrees F. (Mine took about 13 minutes, but I did have thinner pieces.)
Once done, remove and mix together your Mr. Sticks seasoning with melted butter and drizzle over top. Use extra for dipping, if desired.
