Brussels Sprouts and Bacon Pesto Pasta

I was looking for a great new way to make Brussels sprouts and this one caught my eye because it has pasta, bacon and pesto!! Can you say YUM???

This makes about 8 servings.

Notes: I cut this recipe in half for our family. I also used dried basil instead of fresh, so I cut the amount in half.

*If you want to watch the video of this being made, this recipe starts at the 10:23 mark.

This dish is technically a side dish, but it could stand alone for sure! So yummy!

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bacon, cooked and chopped

  • 12 ounces brussels sprouts

  • 1 clove garlic, grated or minced

  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

  • Kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste

  • 8 ounces uncooked pasta shells or similar shape/size, gluten-free if needed

  • 3 tablespoons pesto
