Cajun Potatoes and Onions Side Dish

 
 

If you need a really quick and easy side dish with a punch of flavor, this is the perfect recipe for you!

This recipe makes about 4-6 servings.

Notes for this recipe - Measure with love on this one! Keep in mind that the Creole seasoning has plenty of salt in it, so if you were to use too much it could be super salty.

Ingredients

  • 8-10 red potatoes, cut into chunks

  • 1 onion, chopped into chunks

  • 1 stick of butter

  • Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning

Here’s how to make it

  • Heat a large skillet to med-high and melt butter.

  • Once butter is melted, add potatoes and onions. Stir to coat in the butter.

  • Sprinkle as much seasoning as you would like over the potatoes and onions.

  • Cover with a lid and allow to cook for about 20 minutes, stirring often.
