Crockpot Chicken with Onion Soup Mix

Chicken thighs are the best in my opinion! These chicken thighs in this gravy made with onion soup mix have so much flavor and are great served over rice!

This makes about 4 servings.

Notes: No notes to this one!

*If you want to watch the video of this being made, this recipe starts at the 4:24 mark.

This gravy had so much flavor and the chicken was fall apart tender!

Ingredients

  • 4-6 boneless and skinless chicken thighs (may also sub chicken breasts)

  • 1 can cream of chicken (about 10.5 ounces)

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 8 ounces fresh sliced mushrooms

  • 1 small yellow onion sliced

  • 1 packet onion soup mix (such as Lipton's, do not prepare the mix)

  • salt and pepper to taste (I found that the cream of chicken and onion soup mix had enough salt already so I only added pepper.)

Here’s how to make it
