Crockpot No-Soak Pinto Beans

Didn’t soak your dry pinto beans? No problem! Just use this recipe and pop them in the Crockpot for 8-9 hours on high.

This makes about 10 servings.

NOTES Top it with some chow chow and fresh onion!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups dry pinto beans, rinsed and picked through

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 jalapeno seeded and chopped

  • 1 yellow onion dice

  • 3 cloves garlic minced

  • 1 tsp pepper

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp ground cumin

  • 64 oz low sodium chicken broth may use stock
