Crockpot Swiss Steak
This Swiss steak recipe has a tomato-based sauce and is so yummy!
This recipe makes 4 servings.
Notes for this recipe - You can use 1/2 cup white wine and 1 cup of beef broth if you prefer. You could also use diced tomatoes instead of tomato soup.

Ingredients
1 ½ pounds cube steaks
2 carrots, sliced into 1 inch pieces
1 stalk celery, sliced into 1 inch pieces
½ onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, sliced
¼ cup flour
1 Tbsp olive oil
1.5 cups beef broth
1 10oz can condensed tomato soup
2 Tbsp tomato paste
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp dried thyme leaves
salt and pepper to taste
corn starch for thickening optional

I chose not to use diced or crushed tomatoes, but condensed tomato soup. This made it thick enough that I didn’t need to add a cornstarch slurry at the end.
