Golden Mushroom Crockpot Roast

There are so many versions of pot roast out there, but this one made with golden mushroom soup is an upgrade to a classic!

This recipe makes about 8 servings.

Notes for this recipe - Feel free to add whatever veggies you like! You can even sauté mushrooms and add them in at the end.

Ingredients

  • One 2-3lb chuck roast

  • 2 cans Campbell’s Golden Mushroom soup

  • 1 packet Lipton Beefy Onion Soup Mix

  • 2 small cans (5 oz) evaporated milk (or 3/4 larger can)

Here’s how to make it

  • Whisk together canned soups, beefy onion soup mix, and the evaporated milk inside your slow cooker.

  • Add roast (optional, but not necessary: you could sear the roast before adding) and any veggies you’d like.

  • Cook on low for 10 hours or high for 8 hours.

  • Serve over mashed potatoes!
