Submitted by Juanita

Ingredients

  • 1/2 -1 box of elbow macaroni (I used an entire 1 lb box)

  • 1 egg, whisked

  • 2 heaping Tbsp sour cream

  • 2 heaping Tbsp Duke's mayo

  • 1 (4oz) packet Velvetta cheese sauce

  • 1 small, sweet onion, diced

  • 1 Tbsp butter

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 6 oz Mexican Blend cheese (w/o the spices)

  • 12 oz bag sharp cheddar cheese (separated in half)

Here’s how to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 3 qt baking dish.

  • Boil noodles, drain.

  • In a small pan, sauté onions in butter til soft.

  • Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl, only half of the sharp cheddar goes in at this point. Reserve second half for top.

  • Pour into greased baking dish.

  • Put remaining cheese on top.

  • Bake at 350 for 30 minutes until cheese starts to brown around the edges.

  • Enjoy!
