Crockpot Jalapeno Lime Chicken Soup

Don’t let the name scare you. If you aren’t into spicy food, you can definitely tame this one down. The flavor profile is just amazing!

This recipe makes about 10 servings.

Crockpot Chicken Noodle Soup is a classic and a must try.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium red onion

  • 4-5 jalapenos, remove seeds and ribs to take away spiciness

  • 4 cloves garlic, can use fresh or pre-minced

  • handful (about 1/4 cup) cilantro

  • 4 cups (32 oz) salsa verde, we used med. spice, but can use mild

  • 4 cups (32 oz) chicken broth

  • 1.5 lbs chicken breasts

  • juice of 2-3 limes

  • 2 cans (15 oz each) cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
