Mississippi Burgers
My friend, Jessica O’donohue, shared this recipe a few months ago and we’ve been itching to try it! It did not disappoint! This is our new favorite way to make burgers!
This makes about 4 quarter pound hamburgers.
NOTES Use provolone or pepper jack cheese.
*If you want to watch the video of this being made, this recipe starts at the 0:39 mark.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef (85/15)
1 heaping Tbsp Au Jus gravy mix
1 heaping Tbsp ranch seasoning
1 Tbsp pepperoncini juice
4 slices provolone cheese
sliced pepperoncini
For the mayo
2 Tbsp of mayo
1-2 tsp pepperoncini juice
black pepper to taste
Here’s how to make it
Mix beef with au jus , ranch and pepperoncini juice. Patty into 4 equally sized burgers
Cook on the grill or griddle until almost done and then top with cheese so the cheese will melt onto the hamburger patty.
Toast hamburger buns.
Mix mayo ingredients and put on the buns.
Place burger on buns and top with sliced pepperoncini.
