Monkey Bread Muffins
Monkey bread can be messy to make and eat. That’s why I love making these muffins instead!
This makes about 12 servings.
Notes for this recipe - In the video, I cut the recipe down to just using one can of biscuit dough. So I cut the other ingredients down to a third of the total listed in the ingredient list, too.
*If you want to watch the video of this being made, it starts at the 6:26 mark!
Ingredients
3 packages refrigerated buttermilk biscuit dough 12 ounces, each cut into quarters
1 cup sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 cup brown sugar
Here’s how to make it
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 12 cup muffin tin with baking spray.
Add sugar, cinnamon and biscuit quarters to a large bowl and toss well to coat.
Add 4-5 pieces to each muffin tin.
Add the butter and brown sugar to a medium saucepan on medium heat and bring to a boil for one minute before pouring over the muffin tins.
Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes and remove from oven, let cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a plate.
