Southern Fried Chicken
While I love making shallow fried chicken in Crisco, this deep fried version is SO good! I hope you’ll give this a try!

Ingredients
1 whole chicken, cut up (or 8 pieces of your favorite cuts of chicken)
2 tsp kosher salt
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
2 cups buttermilk
2 Tbsp hot sauce
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup cornstarch
2 tsp kosher salt
2 tsp paprika
2 tsp black pepper
peanut oil (for frying)
